Paul Campion's feature debut involves New Zealand commandos, Nazis, and a demon chick. I know, you're hooked already, but check out the trailer for The Devil's Rock anyway. The plot per IMDB is:
Set in the Channel Islands on the eve of D Day,two Kiwi commandos, sent to destroy German gun emplacements to distract Hitler's forces away from Normandy, discover a Nazi occult plot to unleash demonic forces to win the war.

Visually and thematically, The Devil's Rock reminds me of a Neil Marshall film (particularly Dog Soldiers). Anyone else see it?
Furthermore, New Zealand's own WETA Digital (Lord of the Rings, Avatar) is providing the special effects. Campion was a texture painter with the SFX company before hopping into the director's chair. If you would like to check out Campion's previous works, here is his 5-minute sci-fi/horror short, Eel Girl, in its entirety (NSFW):
Or if fish ladies are not your thing, how about some demon-possessed hamsters, eh? (Part 1 of 2)
