The latest from director Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood) is The Master, a 1950s-set drama loosely based on Scientology. It involves a charismatic religious figure (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) who recruits a troubled drifter (Joaquin Phoenix) into his organization known as "The Cause." In case you missed the clip released a few weeks back, it is also a must-see. Joaquin's intense performance could very well be on par with that of Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood. Also, the music and 50s look of this clip is incredible:
